Fate worked its magic years ago when Nick and Krisel met. Their paths crossed at the Aliso Viejo Ice Palace, where she worked as a party hostess and Nick coached hockey, and their love story has only grown since then. To celebrate their history together, they wed in their hometown in July, at the gorgeous Soka University campus. As a top Soka Wedding Planner, we planned for Nick and Krisel shared their “first look” prior to the ceremony, which the bride described as a wonderful moment together and gave them a chance to settle their nerves before they took their final steps before becoming husband and wife. Nick and Krisel were surrounded by family and friends, and they had an extra special guest during their first dance. Their two-year-old daughter joined Nick and Krisel for a beautiful family dance, celebrating their family’s big day together.

We asked Nick and Krisel to share their thoughts on their wedding day, and Krisel had a piece of advice she wanted to share with brides-to-be!

As a Soka wedding planner, we asked Krisel what her advice would be to future brides. She responded with “My advice to a future bride is not to sweat the small stuff, hire a great wedding coordinator so you have nothing to worry about the day of, and take in EVERY single moment, which is so cliché to say but I can’t stress that enough! The day goes by WAY too fast.”
