On July 22, 2017, Saddlerock ranch Wedding Planner, Cortney Helaine Events helped Dani and Russell plan their perfect wedding day. In the hills of Malibu, at Saddlerock Ranch, a wildlife preserve with all the animals someone can dream of, Danielle Sturgis and Russell Kovner said, “I do.” Underneath a weeping willow, the couple promised each other forever in front of all their guests.
Danielle looked beautiful in her sleeveless a-line gown with a ruffled tulle skirt. The bridesmaids wore dark blue gowns, with the groomsmen matching them in blue suits. Russell wore a deeper blue, complimenting Danielle perfectly. To embrace the summer, the bouquets and centerpieces were bright and colorful, featuring sunflowers to really brighten up the night.
During cocktail hour, the guests were welcome to feed the on-site giraffe, Stanley, while being serenaded by a crooner, who sang all the classic love songs. Once they received their mugs, the guests were welcome to take them to a mule bar to enjoy different choices of drinks.
While dancing with his bride, Russell honored his grandfather by wearing his cap. The reception was full of joy and dancing, complete with hanging string lights. The menu was completely gluten-free, including the desserts.
Who could dream of a better and brighter way to say “I do” than on a wildlife preserve among families and friends?
