Orange County Rustic Wedding Planner

Orange County Rustic Wedding Planner, Cortney Helaine Events, worked alongside Cameron and Samuel to help plan their wedding. As our team has dubbed them, California Cam and Texas Sam, the couple wanted to have a SoCal wedding with Texan elements.

The couple lives in Texas and brought a little bit of Texas with them. The groom built their beautiful 10-foot wooden arch, similar to a log cabin style, to marry his dream girl. After driving it over 1500 miles to Orange County, it was set up and readied with a combination of eucalyptus, pampas grass, and dried palm frowns. wine barrels marked the back of the aisle and were adorned with a combination of taupe, mustard, and dark pomegranate colored roses and flowers.

After having to reschedule their wedding multiple times due to the COVID pandemic, Cameron and Sam decided to wait just a little longer and have the first time they saw each other on their wedding day be as they walked down the aisle. Instead, they were able to have a moment together for prayer together from behind the barn doors before Cameron walked down the aisle.

Cameron walked down the aisle in a beautiful tulle gown adorned with appliqués and lace. It was the moment they had been waiting for, for so many years and Cameron had been dreaming of all her life. They said I do and prayed for the many years ahead of them in their happy life of marriage ahead of them.

They walked down the aisle as husband and wife and guests were able to join them to celebrate in a cocktail hour in the area adjacent to a historic horse stable. Family and friends were being treated to drinks in custom drink koozies and lounged on cream-colored lounge areas.

While the couple made their way into the vineyards and surrounding property fields for photos, guests started to make their way into the dining area. Cameron and Sam decided to have an upscale dinner setting. White bistro lights combined with white twinkle lights were overhead. The guest tables showcased engagement photos as their table numbers and had touches of fall floral colors and gold chairs.

As the Orange County Rustic Wedding Planner, the night was one that brought tears to every eye. A love like theirs is something fairytales are made of. Thank you again, Cali Cam and Texas Sam for letting us be a part of such a special day!
