LA Winery Wedding
Who could have guessed that when Jared went to sell an extra concert ticket on Craigslist, he would find far more than a Blake Shelton fan. He would find his future wife. Stefanie and Jared’s chance meeting was the start of a love story began as the two bonded over cooking, beer-tasting and, of course, concerts! Now that they were ready to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted a LA Winery Wedding.
On June 3, 2017, Stefanie and Jared tied the knot beneath the lush trees and a draped gazebo at Giracci Vineyards and Farms. The luxurious green trees and rustic cabernet barn set the perfect stage for their intimate affair. When the moment arrived for the couple to see each other, Kelsey Albright Photography captured their sweet “First Look” beside the vineyard’s grand wine barrel setup.
Stefanie beautifully tied the past to the present on her big day, as she wore a stunning open-back, form-fitting, ivory Badgley Mischka gown, complemented by her great grandmother’s antique handkerchief in her hand, a tradition that has been in her family for years. With Stefanie’s bridesmaids in pastel blue, the classic simplicity of the bridal party perfectly contrasted with the vineyard’s lush, overgrown oak trees. The gorgeous women in this wedding were not the only stylish ones. Jared and his groomsmen wore Italian-inspired blue suits and brown shoes, adorned with argyle patterned ties and socks, the groom’s statement look.
After a touching, personal ceremony, the couple danced into their reception as DJ Luke from Extreme DJ cued the “Goal Song” of their favorite hockey team, the Anaheim Ducks. For Stefanie and Jared, the Ducks were more than just their favorite team. Last New Year’s Day, as they watched the Ducks game cheering alongside their puppy, Artemis, Jared told Stefanie he noticed one last present left in her Christmas stocking. As Stefanie pulled an empty ring box from the bottom of her stocking, Jared got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him.
The reception’s scrumptious dinner, prepared by 24 Carrots Catering, was served with a choice of tender peppercorn-crusted filet mignon or sautéed chicken breast with chanterelles and chardonnay crème. Following dinner, Stefanie and Jared cut their naked cake, from Simply Sweet Cakery, and even had some fun cake-smashing one another.
Instead of giving traditional wedding favors, Stefanie and Jared opted to rent a photo booth, provided by Focus Photo Suites, so their guests could take home a photo from the evening. As the music played, guests hit the dance floor with their light-up sunglasses and rings, dancing the night away to top hits. Before the party could be complete, guests snacked on a late-night treat of chicken and waffles.
Stefanie and Jared’s unforeseen meeting was destined from the beginning. After celebrating their promise of commitment with their closest loved ones, the smitten newlyweds set off for their fairytale life together.
