Casino San Clemente Wedding
Nicole and Ed met in Las Vegas and everything after that is history. They loved being at the back together, spending time with their families and now it was time to plan for a Casino San Clemente Wedding!
AS guests entered the hallway of the stars they were able to read about the history and culture of this venue. “Casino” is a word with many meanings and when the property was built, it was the means of gathering house. As one of the last stops along the way to Agua Caliente, a Mexican city retreat for the celebrities and business class of Los Angeles. Every night would host a different performance and show, some performers you may have even heard of. Some of its most well-known celebrities to visit were Judy Garland, Mickey Rooney, Dorothy Lamour, Cesar Romero, and many more.
After reading the history of the venue, guests were able to leave a little history of their own to help start the newlyweds off on their new married adventure together. Since the couple met in Las Vegas, Nicole had collected Las Vegas post Cards for the guests to sign instead of a welcome book for guests to leave their good wishes.
Guests wanted into the rock garden are were met by an 8′ chuppah flanked by giant manzanita trees going down the aisle. The bride is one of four sisters so we wanted to make sure all fo them were included. All sisters were in the bridal party and her niece and nephew, who had flown with their mom all the way from Australia served as the ring bearer and flower girl. d
The couple shared their vows with each other and kissed with the cheers of their family and friends. As they walked back down the aisle waved on by ribbon wants the bride and her sisters had made.
When guests entered the dining room, long family tables were surrounded by smaller tables to give a variety to the esthetic of the large circular ballroom. The tables were named after their favorite surfing beaches in southern California. instead of the traditional numbers for table assignments. Variations of table decor were oranges in pillars, driftwood with moss and florals, and manzanita branches with pops of coral.
With a combination of corals and oranges the Casino San Clemente located in San Clemente, CA transformed into a spring blossom. Fun was had by all and Ed’s notorious collection of lawn gnomes even made it to the party after the cake cutting and got a little festive with help from the groomsmen.
