Anita and Jeff looked at the breath taking views of Casa Romantica and knew it was the perfect place for their destination wedding. Anita’s family being originally from over seas, and Jeff’s family from the East Coast, they settled right in the middle.
Anita’s family immigrated to Orange County when she was just 3 and made a home for themselves along the beautiful California Coast. This fed Anita’s love for all things California, from the farm to table freshness and the salty breeze that blows off the surf so the wedding represented just this. Their menu represented the best seasonal menu of some California tasty bites such as: Rock Fish Ceviche, Endive & Beet bites, an heirloom tomato salad, roasted local Sea bass and tri-tip. Their caterer, 24 Carrots, truly lived up to the saying “Eating is necessary but cooking is an art”.
Jeff is a music lover! We used his love of eclectic music for the guest sign in book. We had guests sign the vinyl record for their three favorite artists for Anita & Jeff to later frame in their home, certainly one of my favorite touches.
Jeff and Anita spent time together before the ceremony with their closest family and friends. After a beautiful intimate ceremony with their families, their friends arrived to celebrate oceanside and watch the sunset.
A night of dinner and dancing kicked off the rest of the evening with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony to honor their parents. It truly a lovely day with all the things that made them special as a couple.
