A Santa Barbara Courthouse Escape

Chuck and Tabitha met in college and it was love at first site. Three years later they walked down the grass aisle surrounded by their closest family and friends to say “I do” to the rest of their lives together.

Tabitha is the first of 5 daughters to get married and Chuck and only child, they had endless options on places they wanted to get married. They decided to go to Santa Barbara, about 3 hours away from their home town of Orange County to tie the knot.

With a quiet ceremony on the steps of the beautiful Santa Barbara Courthouse they were serenaded by a string duet and bubbles surrounded them as they had their first kiss. A truly fairy tale moment.

Afterwards, all the guests proceeded to make there way over to the Canary Hotel where they were treated with the sunset and beautiful tables set with decor created by both Chuck and Tabitha (mason jars, lanterns, and wine bottles). Their favorite part of the entire wedding day DIY list was their giant board made from wine corks contributed by the couples and their family and friends to help spell out their names.

Dancing their way through the evening and enjoying a evening full of cupcakes and candlelight made for the absolutely perfect night for these college sweethearts.
