Nestled in a hidden oasis of Coto de Caza, Nina and Matt’s wedding was ensconced in personal touches. Surrounded by loved ones, their intimate and beautiful ceremony was officiated by a family friend who had watched Nina grow up. Nina and Matt customized their wedding day to reflect their personal styles, balancing tradition with unique elements to honor the past and celebrate their future. Nina wore a beautiful, vintage lace veil made from her mother’s wedding dress as she walked down the aisle with her father, Steve. Instead of having groomsmen, Matt honored the special women in his life by including his sister and two best friends into his ceremony as his “groomettes.” The wedding party donned long navy dresses, which were complimented by stunning bouquets and boutonnières. To break from the conventional wedding cake, Nina and Matt chose a rice-crispy-treat cake instead. Intent on sharing their favorite things with family and friends, the bride and groom chose one of their favorite restaurants, Amber’s Cantina, to cater their dinner, treating the guests to delicious Mexican specialties. Dove Canyon Courtyard was the perfect setting for Nina and Matt’s travel-themed wedding day. With hot air balloon and postcard décor, their love for each other and their sense of adventure was obvious to everyone lucky enough to spend this extraordinary day celebrating with them. Nina and Matt danced the night away under the stars, surrounded by those they loved, before heading to their romantic European honeymoon. This is only the start of their exciting journey together and we were honored to be a part of it.
